This Panel will be a discussion and questions format. It will comprise of the attendees of the World Hearing Voices Congress of 2025. Here is a little explanation of what MCHVN does.

Every year, Montgomery County Hearing Voices Network fundraises for the World Hearing Voices Congress, sending a few applicants over to bring back the latest information to benefit the network in supporting those of us who experience and how to support the family, friends, caregivers, and clinicians who want to learn more.  

The Hearing Voices Movement started overseas with Marius Romme. The Hearing Voices Network uses the values and principles created by the movement to support those who experience with compassion, understanding, and no judgment. Last year, the Congress was in Prague and MCHVN sent 7 people over to the Congress. We will host a panel of 4 of those people who will share their experience in attending the Congress and what they learned.  

The Voices Learning Community is a once a month virtual group to bring both people who experience and people who want to learn about this in the same space to collaborate. It is facilitated by people who experience. We also have in person groups for people who experience and would like support with others who experience.
